Gates utilizes advanced EPDM rubber compounds to ensure that this belt resists cracking and heat degradation, offering a significant upgrade over standard replacement belts.

Why This Belt is Essential

• Heat Resistance: Withstands the high under-hood temperatures of high-performance engines
• Reduced Wear: Precision rib geometry reduces pulley wear and belt noise
• Long-Lasting: Superior material composition for extended service intervals
• Reliability: Ensures consistent power to your alternator, water pump, and A/C

The VQ engine is known for its power and responsiveness, but it requires a healthy accessory drive system to perform at its best. A failing belt can lead to charging issues or cooling system failure, which can be catastrophic. By choosing the Gates Micro-V belt, you are investing in the longevity of your engine.
